About EQ Circle

EQ Circle is a site dedicated to the races and new player of the MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) EverQuest. The site started out as EQ Races, hosted on PlanetEQ(.com) and slowly more content was added and the site moved to an individual domain. After the site had further developed it took on the name EQ Circle to reflect the change in focus from just the races to a more general, newbie friendly one.

The original "catchphrase" of the website was the following: "The races of EverQuest provide the essential base of all characters. Your race influences how you look, how others react to you, and helps to shape what type of character you become".

The site is designed and maintained by me: Nerishau, a long time player of EverQuest and MMORPGs.

About Nerishau

I don't like writing a big history of myself so I'll just list 10 EverQuest facts about me instead:

  1. I don't have membership of any official or unofficial forums except Official EQ, Official EQ 2, EQ Circle and EQ Fashion as Nerishau.
  2. I have no characters with the first name Nerishau and I play on the The Rathe (Karana) server in EQ.
  3. I'm not in a guild and haven't been for a long time.
  4. Though Nerishau sounds like a Vah Shir (as a persona he is Vah Shir) and old sites theme was based on Vah Shir my favourite race is actually Iksar (I really like their home continent and the race lore).
  5. I don't really have a favourite class and I have played practically every combination available.
  6. I'm currently playing EQ, Eve Online and LOTRO and numerous other games outside the MMORPG genre.
  7. I play a lot of different games and spend a lot of time doing so but I play them all casually and would class myself a 'casual gamer'.
  8. I usually don't like raids and I rarely enjoy participation in a guild.
  9. I don't have an EQ character who has reached the max level in either regular XP or alternate advancement.
  10. Last but not least, I hereby acknowledge my advice and opinions aren't always right and yours may well be different.
